Crater Lake Ficsonium Nuclear Plant (complete)

Large footprint complete nuclear power setup covering Crater Lake, Red Forest, Lake Forest, Northern Forest, Maze Canyon, Spire Coast and Titan Forest. Also includes connecting rail and road networks. I have tried to limit this build's footprint to the center of the map, leaving the popular building areas untouched (except for the Northern Forest).
Left running for 4 hours to ensure power generation is sustained.
At Crater Lake, main production includes:
- 21 x Uranium Generators overclocked to 250%
- 10 x Plutonium Generators overclocked to 250%
- 5 x Ficsonium Generators overclocked to 250%
- 6 x Sulfuric Acid refineries
- 6 x Wet Concrete refineries
- 18 x Uranium Fuel Unit manufacturers
- 12 x Non-Fissile Uranium blenders
- 6 x Plutonium Pellet partical accelerators
- 18 x Encased Plutonium Cell assemblers
- 11 x Plutonium Fuel Rod manufacturers overclocked to 125% (overclocking mathematically not necessary, but as a precaution against buildup of uranium waste)
- 6 x Reanimated SAM constructors
- Dark Matter Residue converter overclocked to 250%
- Excited Photonic Matter converter overclocked to 125%
- 2 x Ficsonium particle accelerator (1 x overclocked to 150%)
- 3 x Ficsonium Fuel Rod quantum encoder overclocked to 200%
At Titan Forest:
- 4 x Wet Concrete refineries
- 3 x Encased Uranium Cell blenders
In the central caves
- 5 x Encased Uranium Cell blenders
In the Quartz Cove
- 1 x Wet Concrete refinery
- 4 x Sulfuric Acid refineries
- 5 x Encased Uranium Cell blenders
At Spire Coast:
- 2 x Wet Concrete refineries
- 6 x Sulfuric Acid refineries
- 3 x Encased Uranium Cell blenders
At Red Forest is Ficsite Trigons, Heat Sinks, Steel Beams and Aluminium Casing production
At West Northern Forest is Nuclear Pasta and Singularity Cell production
At Northern Forest is Silica, Rotor, Crystal Oscillator and Fused Frame production
At Maze Canyon is Heavy Frame, Dark Matter Crystal and Control Rod production
Please note that this megaprint covers large amounts of the center regions. If you already have something there, please check if anything overlaps your facilities.
Note that if you are using my Turbo Fuel Generator megaprint, the north east sulfur node is being shared.
Note there is a suspension bridge crossing the Desert Canyon that is currently incomplete, as I am waiting for building components in patch 1.1.
Version History:
- Version 1.01: fixed heat sink freight platform from load to unload; fixed missing pipe into blender
- Version 1.02: Redone all conveyor belts to run under the floor, for tidiness; fixed conveyor lifts into blender
- Version 1.03: Reset reactor A2 overclock rate to 100%, as it is more important to consume all wastewater from blenders, but might result in occasional idleness.
- Version 1.04: One of the plutonium rod manufacturers in the east building didn't have a recipe set
- Version 1.05: Combined with https://satisfactory-calculator.com/megaprints/index/details/id/1231/name/Uranium+Cell+Railway with working train route
- Version 2.0: overall rearrangement of power plant site, balanced for update 7
- Version 3.0: reworked to match update 8 map, also added in satellite factories that support the nuclear plant.
- Version 4.0: Replaced 'water sink reactor' with wet concrete refineries. Removed all 'under the map' subway section, rail path now aboveground through Titan Forest. Added train-flip protection under receiving railway stations. General fixes to suit update 8 topology.
- Version 5.0: Update for Release version 1.0
- Version 5.1: Removed water pumps from around the geyser, overclocked other water pumps.
- Version 6.0: Incorporates Ficsonium plant and complete supply chain for Ficsonium fuel rods.
Power:
Input power is configured via the substation.
Power is exported via the pylons attached to the substation.

Hi all. I've pasted the megaprint into a blank save and confirm it's all there. Regarding the train named 'Materials Loop A2', it might be an orphaned train.
-
Veloestian - Oct 3, 2024, 4:31:23 AM
Please disregard my comment, I believe I know what I did. I also use your turbofuel blueprint, and believe it has to do with that.
-
Veloestian - Oct 3, 2024, 4:17:25 AM
Hello, I am experiencing an issue with this where there is a train line in the north that has no time table. I am unsure what the time table is, and also if it not being set is leading to the degradation of the supply chain for the reactors. It begins a few hours after loading a save with it placed in the map. The train in question is "Materials Loop A2"

ɃΛÐSΞΞÐ - Sep 23, 2024, 9:36:42 PM
hey man, i think half the blueprint is missing... imported into SCIM and crater lake is empty, however the rail network shows up...? upload the wrong file maybe?

xbb1024 - Feb 29, 2024, 4:39:40 PM
Version 4 fixes some previous design issues: Removed the 22nd reactor that was just used to sink water, replaced with wet concrete produced onsite at the power plant. Railway has also been redone through the Northern Forest and Titan Forest, now all aboveground.

Train route for uranium updated to be a straight line. Also, configuration of uranium train redesigned so that it can't offload if flipped (solid, solid, solid, liquid, liquid)
-
Wrigley2002 - Apr 27, 2023, 8:47:17 PM
cannot get this blueprint to work properly with the supporting system. trains become backed up with cargo and begin dropping incorrect items at the power plant, shutting it down
-
xbb1024 - Jan 8, 2023, 5:05:39 AM
Please note that overclocking rates have changed since this megaprint was released. Some modification is needed for new rates

The control rods train keeps flipping every cycle. I am going to add a station at that turnoff before the bridge to flip it around again but is there a better way to be doing this?
-
SinxK - Oct 4, 2022, 11:50:02 AM
Never mind. I just saw your note
-
SinxK - Oct 4, 2022, 11:43:42 AM
Crater lake c station is underground. Is that what you designed to be or bug because of update6?
-
xbb1024 - Jul 5, 2022, 5:27:44 AM
I don't think there were any changes in U6 that would require an update. But I'm open to suggestions on how to improve this one.
-
ra1k_0 - Jun 27, 2022, 1:44:06 AM
Will this be updated for update 6?
-
Cynaster - May 28, 2022, 4:13:42 PM
Hey im curious, do I need to supply items to the trains or is this setup to supply power from the start? Also When i load up the game I only see 1 Train router running. Should there be more trains, i.e Routes 2 and 3?

Hi everyone, sorry for the influx of minor version updates. They were just minor things like missing powerline and recipe on one of the plutonium rod manufacturers in the east building, and redoing the overclock balance between reactors A1 and A2 (A2 consumes the wastewater from the blenders). These were a result of me building a separate export version of my savefile, so that the blueprint isnt full of uranium waste containers.
