300/min Battery Factory v1.0

For Satisfactory Update 7

A self-sufficient 300 per minute Battery Factory requiring no user resource input other than electrical power. It is located on the Western side of Swamp with resource miners in the Eastern Dune Forest, Dune Desert and Swamp. Batteries are delivered via six Drone Ports located on top of the roof.

Allow at least 20mins for all resources to be delivered and Blenders are up to speed for 300/min output.

All Pipes are Mk2, and the resource Miners are Mk3 and provide the following resources via Mk5 Belts and Lifts:

  • 1000 Bauxite
  • 780 Sulfur
  • 300 Coal
  • 900 Limestone
  • 1900 Water is provided by Water Extractors behind Factory to all Refineries that need it.

The Wastewater from the Scrap Aluminum Refineries and Blenders is turned into Cement and put through a Sink. Overflow Batteries are Sunk also, to keep production flowing.

ALTERNATE RECIPES: Multiple machines are Overclocked, and the following Alternate Recipes are used:

  • Sloppy Alumina
  • Pure Aluminum Ingot
  • Wet Concrete

MODS USED: The following Mods are used in the build and may be required for functionality, appearance and changes to the Megaprint:

  • Structural Solutions (nearly the entire building structure is built using this - All machines, belts, lifts, etc. are Vanilla)
  • Pimp My Factory (only for the half-width Modern Railing)
  • Micro Manager (used for the placement of many items)
  • Multiple items from the Ficsit Awesome Shop are also used.

This MegaPrint is compatible with the Global Rail Network by Pravum L, both v2.9 and v3.x. (It does not require the GRN for any resources)

    @BLazy You would be correct. This MP has not been updated to the Stable (1.0) version yet and is stilled tagged for Update 7 only. It is on my list of MP's to get updated.

    Everything works great except the building mods since mods are not in the game yet but it is still sort of functional. The one sulfur node got removed in the new update so I just had to go to another node.

    Ran into a few problems around the pipe junction cross issue. Had to delete and rebuild some lines on the 2nd floor. But also notice a couple other things that could be improved. I am splitting up power with switches so you can get the Sulfuric Acid to fill up because it never fills the storage tanks. Also, the Alumina production for the blenders is overkill, but I don't understand why; the required Alumina Solution for 15 blenders is 40*15=600, which is what those two refineries are set at, but they never run at 100% efficiency. it's like they are only producing at 32% and it's sufficient to supply all the blenders. Very strange.

    works awesome but the walls and floors are gone. i have loaded this into 2 worlds with everything unlocked and same issue but i dont have to look at it much so i dont really care but just thought id say something.

    @Nero_Darkhood If I remember correctly, the batteries pass through storage containers as they fill the Drone Ports. Once those are full, the storage containers fill to capacity and then overflow is directed downstairs to the Awesome Shredders. Been some time since I have logged in, I am waiting for a more stable version of U8.

    Great build. love it! where is it storimg the batteries tho, everthing is tucked away behind walls. which i love, but i cannot find the storage. i do see it felling the fuel slot for the drones but thats it. is this fcatory build only to sustane the drones? no extra output?

    @Sineus - Nearly the entire factory structure and all the conveyor frames from the miners to the factory are build with Structural Solutions mod. The Pimp My Factory mod is only for the half-size modern railing around the Drone Ports. The Ficsit Shop items can be purchased using the tickets from the Sinks. Micro-Manage Mod was used to make micro-changes to the placement/alignment of some items. If you don't move something then you won't need Micro-Manage Mod.
