Hornslet 1.0 Global Rail Network




Updated to Map Version 1.2 Changes:
- Station 47 is now named "Dune Road Station"
- One of the "Titan Forest St. 2" is renamed to "Titan Forest St. 1"
- "Sulfur Crack Station" got reworked to support 4 carts from 1

Map Version 1.1 Changes: Swamp area got reworked to work with a Power Plant Megaprint.

There is a 1200MW power station up North West, with a 3600MW power bank. You need to feed it more power to use the full rail network, it req. 12.000MW to function fully.

Its amzing BUT I wuld apriciate word bluprints becouse you have all of the nice stations but i dont have any unloading stations nad you have the bluprints but i dont the T junction and the pillars if you could add bluprints from this world i would love it even more

I have over 500 hours in the game, and every massive save had ended with me trying to set up an ugly and awkward railway, not even a global one – gods, no, tiny local ones were more than enough to stop me from progressing. This is excellent. I have noticed a couple of minor (or in one case, miner) things. Sand Dunes St. B1 is in conflict with the copper node underneath. Moving it back one station width would work. There are no stations in the Red Jungle, which has multiple Bauxite and Coal, plus a SAM location. One could fit in between this area. Seems odd not to have a station for the multiple pure iron, copper, limestone, sulfur and caterium nodes just south of Dangle Spires on the west coast. I could somewhat understand the Red Jungle, as it is a pain to seamlessly blend into the existing network, but that area is open and available, and could easily support a three wide station, especially considering that you have a line running right through the nearby ocean area. In the same area, there is a three way intersection that has only block gates. (-1348, 2048 according to in game map) and at least for me, the trains never go through that area. It's possible that I messed a gateway up the line somewhere, but I hadn't modified anything within 500m of the area before noticing that.

Thanks for this rail network! As a possible improvement point, your stations be a little more well positioned. For example: Having 3 stations in the Rocky desert is awesome, but having them all in the same space that low to the ground takes up some valuable flat fields =) Otherwise, yours is the best rail network available!

@Okamas - There are two kinds of world grid. Horizontal and vertical world grid. The network is on vertical world grid, so it will always be on same level.

Well it's fine that the tracks are not as that would be difficult, but the stations should be if you added the tag that it's World Grid Aligned

Thank you very much Hornslet. Lubbo announced on February 4th that he no longer wanted to update his megaprint, but no problem, I will modify the conveyors and pipelines to put them above the track. The station's new position in this area is better as it no longer conflicts with the building itself. Excellent news also for the sulfur node!

Hi Hornslet ;-) Good news for the Swamp! I have covered almost all the routes. I found a station named "Station 47" which could possibly be called "Dune Road" if the map I'm using is correct. There are also 2 stations named "Titan Forest Station 2". I assume this is due to the end of the track at this point. One last point, "Sulfur Crack Station", I think it is possible (I did it) to add at least a second loading dock because it is a good node. Interesting to see soon this 1.1 ;-)

Only allowing 3 pictures is criminal, I wanna see more of this masterpiece. Well done dude. I'm new to the game, haven't even unlocked trains yet, but I like looking through the blueprints for inspiration as I'm not artistic and struggle with building anything but straight lines or boxes. This is straight art my dude.
