FUBAR's Uranium Subway

Version 4 - SATISFACTORY 1.0 REBUILD! Release Date Dec 22nd 2024

Version 4 is here!! Redesigned in places & made all nice for Satisfactory 1.0!

THESE TRAINS DRIVE ON THE LEFT

A fully enclosed subway that runs predominantly UNDER the center of the map connecting 3 of the 5 Uranium nodes in the game (2 Normal, 1 Impure).

  • Fully Signalled for LEFT Track Driving
  • Lighting fully compatible with Lumen (It looks amazing!) and regular lighting settings.
  • Fully Signposted so you don't get lost!
  • Collision-free junctions included at the North, East & West exits & inside the subway
  • Has Exits to the North, South, East and West so you can chose wherever you want to irradiate! :)
  • Miners and Stations, with Ore Buffers, are built at each Uranium node. (Stations are empty to reduce radiation in the area, when you need them, turn on the miners & connect the belts up.)
  • All Entrances / Exits except the North are concealed within caves so they don't look too obvious. The North Entrance is tunnelled into a Cliffside central to the Northern Forest Biome.
  • Trains can enter and exit from any of these points, meaning other trains will use these routes to traverse the map efficiently.
  • Serves as an excellent base / starting position for you to build your own global railway network. (and not take the fun out of the game for you)
  • World Grid Aligned (mostly)
  • Vanilla Build - No mods required

Further Details

  • Satisfactory 1.0 Update completed - The Central Cave Exit (which leads to the Grasslands) has been completed redesigned due to major terrain changes in this area.

  • The Central Cave is now fully Railed up, adding a 5th Eastern facing exit that serves the bottom end of the Titan Forest & Eastern Dune Forest areas.

  • South Entrance is through the large natural Cave opening next to the Abyssal Pit & includes a 'Victorian Iron' style bridge & track to the edge of the Grasslands.

  • East Entrance through the cave behind the Large Swamp waterfall, has been redesigned with the 1.0 update. This also has a 4-way junction in the Swamp included & overground tracks extend to the edge of the Dune Desert.

  • FULLY FUNCTIONAL Hypertube network runs through the subway tunnels for easy pioneer personal transportation.

  • Access to a few of the maps secret Caves through the tunnels. (Look for the side doors)

  • Full power network separate from the Tracks also included.

  • Lots of little easter eggs & a few cult references here & there, plus there's some equipment items & 1 bonus Hard Drive hiding somewhere in the tunnels... can you find it??

  • For Warm White Lighting use code #FFDC83 in the first lighting colour preset

Power Supply Notes

  • The Uranium Subway is fully self-powered (3.1GW Max) and includes:-

  • 2x Geothermal Generators in the Swamp.

  • 3x Geothermal Generators in the Coral Cliffs area (just north of the Swamp).

  • 4x Geothermal Generators in parts of the Northern Forest.

  • 3x Geothermal Generators in the Eastern Pink Forest.

  • 1000mWh Battery storage included.

    Paste Location is locked to Original placement for obvious reasons.

    I recently started playing again so will be looking into improving this again soon (ish) with the new architecture pieces & checking everything still works. In the mean time keep enjoying this version, Glad everyone is enjoying it.

    I have it pasted but nothing seems to be running i went to a miner and it has power but isnt mining do i need to turn the entire system on somewhere else

    Hi Leopeo1, Glad you like the Blueprint.

    The Train you speak of is supposed to be stuck down in that derelict tunnel. it's more part of the scenery than intended to be used. It's possible that one of the pedestrian access Hypertubes may be hidden behind rocks that you'll be able to blow up once you Unlock the Nobelisk Bombs, I'm not sure as these would have been cleared LONG ago in my construction save, but all entrances were checked and rebuilt where required after the 1.0 release as the Map changed in places at that time. Once you get the trains unlocked you can just drive in.

    new to the game and this site. it worked somewhat i pasted it into my world save on the map page, see everything but train is stuck down in a cave by the die hard area, not sure how to reset it, and some gate was blocked by the mountain?

    10,000 Downloads!! Truly insane. Thank you everyone who has downloaded & used this. It's been a labour of love over the last 3 1/2 years through many rebuilds and that process isn't yet over. I'm currently waiting on Pak Utility Mod to be made 1.0 compatible so I can get version 4 worked on.

    I'm so pleased this hard work has been enjoyed by so many pioneers. To think it all started from finding a hole in the Map :) Cheers all!

    Truly an awesome work, thank you for releasing it. In case anyone wonders: it is not compatible with "Global Rail Network 3.9 U8 (exp)" not only because of different "drive lane" but also because of clipping/superposition between the two of them. The latest version of "Global Rail Network" uses a good part of the central cave where this structure is located.

    Are the blueprints you used for the outside rails, supports and bends availble anywhere? I really like the look of them and would love to continue that style.

    @Ashtar Sheran in this underground railway the trains drive on the left. In the global railway you are asking about the trains drive on the right so no compatability. The would have to be a lot of signal editing for these to work together. I don't think this underground railway would conflict or intersect with the Global railway because it operates at a lower level on the map.

    Amazing work and fits in perfectly with my existing rail network with some minor adjustments on the Grassfields end. Thanks for the share and the time and effort put in to this subway network. This will make it so much easier to start with the Nuclear Power, my next project.

    Yes, Left Hand drive - but this is a monumental effort and so worth using. It is easy to connect the end points to your existing RH railway the correct direction. I linked it up to Full Map Railway U5 and it is incredible. Amazing work here.

    You really delivered a piece of art here. I can't even imagine creating something like that. But I've been thinking about creating my own train system for my uranium anyway and I almost think I'll integrate that into my game stand. Thanks for contributing to the community!!!

    Sorry guys but I can't post a RH Driving version of this BP without having to completely rebuild it. This has been hundreds of hrs in the making over it's various versions, I simply don't have the time unfortunately. But the beauty of this game is you can use this as a starting point / base to put your own twist on it & build it to your needs. This is why it's not a full map railway, I don't want to take all the fun out of Satisfactory for you.

    Thankyou to all of you who've downloaded and used this build, it makes me happy knowing that so many people have benefitted from something I put so much time into.
