Output:
- Plutonium fuel rod 0.5 - going to Sink
This BP is designed to be used with my Small Nuclear power plant. Waste output from Nuke plant is recycled in this facility to plutonium fuel rod and sink. So you have clean nuclear energy without waste. Outputs from nuke power plant fit inputs in waste facility. Because amount of resources are low and almost same as for nuke plant, i decided to use one input in nuke power plant and resources from output are transferred to waste facility(second picture show, how i use it. Just have in mind, input to nuke plant must be increased by resources needed for waste facility + bauxite and nitrogen gas).

Inputs are sorted so you can deliver everything, everywhere, all together, drones+input belts in same time...sorter will do its job and resources will find right way to machines.
No mods are required.
If you need to add more inventory slots, there are three ways:
Easiest Method
- Find your game.ini file at:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\Config\Windows
- Open it and add these three lines:
[/Script/FactoryGame.FGPlayerSettings] mDefaultPlayerInventorySlots=200 mDefaultArmEquipmentSlots=5
- Save the file, start the game, and you will have 200 inventory slots.
Use the SCIM Page
- Go to https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/interactive-map
- Load your save file.
- Click the OPTIONS button.
- Add as many slots as you want.
- Export the modified save file.
- Load the modified save in the game.
Use a Mod
- Many mods can increase your inventory size by 10, 50, 150, 300, 500, or more.

Hello Sinnin, to be honest, this BP was created in old version, when rods can not be used as fuel to drone(this possibility comes with 1.0 version). But it is a good idea. What you need to do, is to put smart splitter on plutonium fuel rod, set rod to one output and overflow to sink(to ensure, if fuel buffer is full, excess needs to go to sink, to prevent clog). And then output with rod merge with input belt for fuel. Feel free to contact me on discord, if something is not clear.

Hey Katoo, first of all I love your blueprints, have used quite a few during my first game (only started couple weeks ago). Now I am about to set everything up for the 25 GW nuclear plant and this waste facility. I was thinking of also using this opportunity to get my first drones however I do not have a reliable fuel production yet. Therefor the question, could theoretically the produced plutonium rods be used by the drones as fuel?

blaxar, to be able to use TODO list, you need to download both files sbp+sbpcfg. If you download only sbp, you can use blueprint, but you can not add it to TODO list.

So i downloaded and loaded the blueprint. expaneded the inventory to 200 slots by editing the ini file. even though i have all the materials went through every item i still cannot build it.
No matter how little or how much of an item i have it says im mising 14 materials even if i have only 1 item of the required materials. I also cannot add the blueprint to my todo list.
Any ideas. Ive saved and reloaded several times and redownloaded and added the blue print several times.

This blueprint is the best! Never seen anything like it! Yet had to adapt it a little, because Drone ports cannot receive waste containers, but it was pretty simple. I can only imagine what it took to create such a masterpiece!

VooDoo73 im sorry, i can not do that. There is only 6 drone ports and a lot more input resources. So only way is to have 6 mixed belts. Especially with 1.0 release, uranium power is deprecated. In past, only way to manage uranium waste, was to create plutonium rod and sink them. With 1.0 release, we have another dimension. Now we should burn plutonium rod and plutonium waste convert to ficsonium rods and burn then too. It is more complicated, but only solution that make sense to me. Maybe in future i will create new BP, with plutonium power plant + ficsonium power plant to have a clean nuke energy. But right now im working on 72GW rocket fuel blueprint and 180GW rocket fuel megaprint. So i can not promise anything right now.

sry life got in the way..
i did not see any cmd to disable the "no building cost" or is that part of the cheat memus..
and i think it was my fault waste got mixed in with the coal.. i might of put the input belt with the waste in on the coal and not the ded input for the waste..
also if you ever redo this bp, can you please give the battreys (or you choise of fuel) there own input.. so the over flow wont go to the sink..
other than that its awesome

@DRAGONSTEAR and exact answer to your question, there is no way, how to change uranium waste processing to plutonium waste processing. It is completely different process, so it must be completely new blueprint.

That is not correct information. You can use plutonium waste to generate Ficsonium and from Ficsonium generate Ficsonium Fuel Rod. And they can be burned in reactor producing no byproduct. Right now im working on 72GW Rocket Fuel Power Plant. Im close to publishing it, final test phase. Maybe then i will take a look on plutonium and Ficsonium Fuel Rod. I have zero experience right now.

@dragonstear at this point there's no way to recycle Plutonium waste. Either you stock the waste in a far location or you use the awesome sink to destroy the plutonium fuel rods

VooDoo73 strange, waste have dedicated belt and there is no way, how it can mix with coal. And i found answer, why after dismantle you did not get items and crate back. You have No Building Cost checked in options. No cost means also, no items back.

i checked to see if i had room for it.. and i had plenty of room for it..
after i had it running for a few days.. sometimes ill get nuclear waste mixed in with the coal belts.. and it clogs the belts to the sinks

VooDoo73 no, it is not, you have get all materials back to your inventory after dismantling. Maybe some mods? Or check around, if there are no small crates created, when your inventory is full.

i placed it down, but when i saw that the inputs were on the right. i removed it..
but did not get everything back from the bp, is that normal

Great print! This was my first time messing with Uranium in Satisfactory. After hunting down probably too much information I decided to download this and "learn" with it. So far so GREAT! Echoing what was said by praken, a means to unpackage Nitrogen would be awesome. But it's not a showstopper or a negative! I am also using the recycling plant next door and your prints for the quad wa with this print next door and two of your 4 extractors with tanks! Sweet setup. Thank you!

@Kaz because there are 6 belts. It you connect them together and send them to one Sink, max belt speed will be decreased to 780/6=130. To keep full speed, i need to have dedicated sink per belt. I never know, what exactly player will send to belt, so i need to prevent clogging.

@spiffy, i created this blueprint long time ago, when in chain, plutonium fuel rod was last possible component capable to sink(only way to deal with plutonium waste was to store them somewhere on map). For clear nuke energy, without waste, there were on other way, only sink plutonium fuel rod. With 1.0 version, situation changed and you can burn plut. rod and use plutonium waste in other chain. So yes, it make sense now to burn plutonium rod. Maybe sometime i will update blueprint, but not yet. You can redirect plutonium fuel rod from sink to input of one drone port and transfer them to another reactors by drone, where you can burn them.

This BP is great. Matched up perfectly with the small 25GW nuclear power plant one. I've never made it to the nuclear power stage before, so forgive my ignorance but, wouldn't it make more sense to feed the plutonium fuel rods to an additional power plant, since they're consumed half as fast? Or possibly send them to the drones to at least power them, or even possibly to distribute to other drone locations to use as fuel?

coleman984 yes, you are right, It was created for U7, if i remember well. To add various fuel types and in same time avoid programmable splitters, means to add dedicated smart line for each fuel type. There is no space, so answer is no, i will not update it. But you can do it by yourself, find a line of smart splitters where batteries are filtered out and change each splitter from battery to packed Tfuel, for example. No big deal.

How do I supply fuel to the drones? Was this made before 1.0 and it uses batteries? If so do you plan on making changes to it to allow for a fuel input so I can use say turbofuel instead.

Scottishbigyin, it is my mistake, you are right, i can see in description 140, but on picture i can see on sign 150m3/min. To be honest, i dont remember what is correct. Im sorry for my mistake. Anyway, there is priority input implemented to consume waste water as a first and only if there is lack of waste water, it take fresh water from input. So dont worry, it will works and doesnt matter, if you will send there 140, 150, 200... and because i dont remember which value is correct one, please use minimum 150 and all will be OK.

On the guide says 140 water/per minute, but on the building it's a 150, since don't want to end up with load of waste water build up blocking the system

@thebovin, yes, i already found this issue, i did not implement anything to cover overfeeding of power plant by uranium. Means, if you send too much uranium to power plant, overflow is send to recycling power plant. Right now, i can see only 2 ways. First, dont over feed power plant and uranium will not be send to waste facility. Or second, send back uranium from waste facility back to power plant. I will try to find time and prepare new version of nuke plant to avoid over feeding with uranium(it is not as simple, because it can not be sink)

SO, how do you solve the problem of the raw uranium being transferred from the nuke plant into the waste plant via belt? You said you just use the output of the nuke plant to provide stuff for the waste plant, but i keep having raw uranium being transferred over. As far as i can tell, the waste plant cannot use raw uranium right?

Katoo, And yes, limiting with close throughput conveyor belts may be a solution. Anyway I have already started building my own uranium fuel rod factory, it's pretty simple. But I will use your waste recycling facility (3 of them actually) despite the same sorting principle

Hi, to begin with I must congratulate you because this factory is joint with the Nuclair power plant and one of the most complete and successful factories that I could find.
just a little remark regarding nitrogen. It would be a plus for your factory if we could also supply it from drones in the format of nitrogen bottles.
