This BP is designed to be build anywhere on map, but my recommendation is to build it close to water, because you need to deliver 600 water to each power plant. Due to resource input is not so big, i decided to implement also drone ports. I implemented to this blueprint my sorter, so there is no dedicated input belt. You can send any resource to any belt, or any resource to any drone port, or belts+drone ports in same time, resource will always find their way. Also batteries can be send to belts, or deliver by drones, they are routed back to drone battery storages. Waste is primary directed to belt output, but one drone port is also connected, so you can use also drone port to export waste. To do this, you need to switch smart splitter right behind door from center to right. Don't worry, there is sign with notes.
You can simple connect all inputs/output (or setup drones routes), connect power(initially it need 1.7GW to start production) and factory will start to produce fuel rods and generate power. But it will lasts ~3hours to fully stabilize output to 25GW. If you want quicker smooth production(in ~75mins), follow bellow steps:
- connect all inputs, EXCEPT uranium
- connect water and power.
- production will slowly start, keep it running minimum 60 minutes WITHOUT uranium
- after 60 minutes past, you can connect also uranium
- in next 15mins(production of rods is very slow, only 0.4/min) power production will be fully stabilized on 25GW
13 Power Shards are used, 12 is mandatory for power plants and due to space limitation, i was forced to use one more in assembler.
Battery production is not included, so if you want to user drones, you have to fuel them in destination ports, or deliver battery to this factory(by belt, or by drone port).Version 1.1
- Top floor was redesign little bit. I added there 6 output mergers, connected to inputs. Means resources can pass through factory. You can connect another power plant input to output of previous power plant(serial connection).
- Have in mind, maximum throughput is 6x780 ppm
- Resources connected to inputs(or coming from drone ports) go to buffer containers and to machines. If buffer containers are full, resource is send to output. If output is not connected, overflow is send to Sink.
- Reason for redesign is simple, im going to build Waste reprocessing facility, which can be then connected directly to power plant.
Version 1.2
- I added one more output merger for possible waste reprocessing facility connection.
- Smart splitter right behind the door have now 3 possibilities(CENTER-Output1, LEFT-Output2, RIGHT-Drone port). So you can easily redirect waste, where you want.
- This has to be final version and no more updates will be published.
Version 1.3
- Because there is not dedicated input for uranium and people have issue to setup input amount correctly to 125/min. and we all know, uranium excess can not be manage by Sink, I decided to add dedicated input for uranium, means no more issue with uranium overflow.
Version 1.4
- Iron ingot production balancing changed, in previous version 6 ingots per minute were send to steel production, except to wire. Which makes energy production unstable after few hours. Last test passed 11 hours without issue.
Version 1.5
Because in 1.0 no more issue with uranium sinking, i decided to remove dedicated line for uranium. So now there are 6 inputs, all mixed, you can send anything anywhere and sorter will clean it up. Same with drones, you can send any resource to any port. Also no issue to connect more resources to one input(more resources to same drone port), just make sure, you keep maximum belt speed 780.
It you want to switch fuel type, find last row of smart splitter. There are 6 SS set to "battery", simple change all 6 from battery to for example packed fuel. No mods are required.
If you need to add more inventory slots, there are three ways:

- Find your game.ini file at:

Hi! For the life of me i cant find the input anywhere like on the picture? I saw a different comment about not needing the drones so im trying to find the input lines where i can get everything too but i cant find it anywhere? im i blind?

J89eu cant see you save file, but in general, make sure you extract 600 per min and send it to one pipe. Usually i use 2 fully overclocked extractors(300+300). Put first pump immediately behind extractors and make sure, your head lift is enough. MK1 has only 20m head lift. MK2 50m if i remember well. Dont use valves, or buffers.

Hey, love the design but having a heck of a time trying to get enough water to the reactors, I have water extractors directly under the inputs, 4 of, all with pumps with about 30 meter head lift, just can't seem to get the water to get reliably as far as the reactor, any suggestions?

McTags im not sure, what do you mean. If you connect iron ore and coal, it start to produce steel ingots in 3 foundries on top floor and ingots are send to bottom floor for steel pipes production.

Jperk320 no, you dont, drones are optional. And yes, there is sorter, but you can not send everything to one input, because there are MK5 belts and max speed is 780. You can mix inputs as you want, but make sure, you fit max. speed. And it is designed to be in line with waste facility and it needs also some resources, so if you will use it, dont forget, that you will send to nuke plant iron ore for nuke plant + iron ore for waste facility...

Great print! This was my first time messing with Uranium in Satisfactory. After hunting down probably too much information I decided to download this and "learn" with it. So far so GREAT! Echoing what was said by praken, a means to unpackage Nitrogen would be awesome. But it's not a showstopper or a negative! I am also using the recycling plant next door and your prints for the quad wa with this print next door and two of your 4 extractors with tanks! Sweet setup. Thank you!

I'm having an issue with Caterium Production. The plant wont stabilize because the ingots are not being produced fast enough. Just the one smelter doesn't seem to be refilling the ore fast enough and I'm not sure how to fix it. Any help here?

Kattoo thanks for this and the waste one, they are awesome. I built my own Nuclear set up but wanted something much more compact and when I saw this I thought it would work. I use 10 of these and I have stripped the aesthetics, and I am trying to make them look like one big mega plant. The combo of the plant and waste set ups are incredibly well done. I learned a lot from stripping it down bit by bit and understanding how it all flows, so thanks again.

hydroculator no, you dont need other ports. Just mix resources. For example you can send to same drone port 4 drones from different location with lime, quartz, coal, sulfur. Important is, you need to fit maximum 780ppm, which is belt and drone port limit. But if i remember well 1.3 had dedicated uranium input belt and drone port is not connected there.

Looks like I had version 1.3 and didn't realize it. I have tried out a few of your other blueprints, they're all amazing! If I wanted to input everything via drone, there's 9 input resources (including batteries, 8 if the batteries are supplied at the other ends) and 6 drone ports. Can this be done with just drones, or do I need to add more drone ports outside and route them to the other inputs?

Im dumb and connected a battery line to the power plant before anything else and didnt notice that they filled up and then all of the rest were going to the sink while I was still getting things set up .

Did you download new 1.5 version? There is no more dedicated uranium input. In previous version, where was dedicated uranium input, drone ports were not connected to that dedicated input. If it is case, use drone port close to dedicated input, disconnect belt going to sorter and connect it to dedicated uranium belt(put merger from inside and connect port there). Or if not big deal, delete it and build new version.

I think I've set up everything correctly; all inputs are being flown in via drone. The machines inside seem to be producing everything. However, the uranium is going straight into the sink. Do I need to send it into the dedicated input? The description makes it sound like the drones can handle it.

Yeah i found it but im not sure how to handle that specific one since it seems to have an opening on the underside. Well doesnt matter. I get it to the Waste Facility anyway :). I had a problem with the Energy Output of ~9000 Watt. I thought there would be a problem but in the end it was me who forgot to overclock 2 of the Water Extractors (the Overclock modules were already in but i didnt increase the output). Well lets see if the fuelrod will stabilize itself (i needed to manually split them because in 2 of 4 where 47 and the other 2 were practically 0)

Well I used drones for most of the resources but I needed to adjust the blueprint to get it to work for me. When facing the building from the front ( where the big sign and the door are) I used the drone port on the bottom left corner for Uranium. I don't know if I somehow overloaded the smart splitters or just got unlucky choosing the one drone port that does not like Uranium. For me the Uranium arrives shoots down, goes around the corner on the first floor and into the smart splitters, rather than going to the left like the smart splitter is set to it goes forward on overflow and right into the sink. Thank you for your help. I came to the same conclusion, because I currently have about 5 rods in each reactor and still ocasionally see the dips. Unless it's some kind of a bug in the game, I came to the same conclusion, it should be the water. And yet, I cannot see anything wrong with it, the pipes coming to the building are always 100% full.

zespri i bet you have problem with water. Reactor need 600ppm and max MK2 flow is 600. Which usually leads to back flow. Watch out you water flow, im pretty sure, problem is with water. Because if manufacturer works on 100%, reactors can not stop due to missing rod. I recorded graph with external SW for one hour, because i can not sit 1h in front of graph and check it. Then i checked quickly recorded video. Full stable.

No, you can safely underclock them. But i changed iron ingot ratio in morning(as mentioned bellow), let it run 50mins without uranium, then connected uranium. It was stable in 15minutes and keep stable until now(+-5hours, dont remember exact time). I will let it run another few hours and then post updated sbp file.

Thanks! "except it will accumulate rods and occasionally stop production due to overproduce" it won't stop the power production though? that's what matters. I have run it for hours and it never fully stabilized though, that's why I thought of underclocking. May be I missing some other issue. I'll try to switch the reactors off until I have two rods, but I have a suspicion that eventually they will again start to drift for the same (unknown) reason.

zespri mistake in description. Concerning rods, if your manufacturers works with 100%, it produce exact amount needs by reactors. Problem is transport time by belt. So it is normal, that from the beginning they are turning off for a while. But it should stabilize in 10-20 minutes. Or to speed up, prevent for a while burning of rods(turn off reactor, wait till it have 2 rods in internal storage and start it again. Or disconnect water for a while). No reason to underclock them, because production exactly fit demand. Anyway, if you underclock them, no bad side effect, except it will accumulate rods and occasionally stop production due to overproduce. And of course, lower power production.

So I have this question now. Even with production and consumption of rods matched I still ocasionally have dips. Not often and not for long. Say every 5 minutes for 10-20 seconds (very approximately). I can see that the rop production is working at 100% and yet, the reactors sit on 98%. The water looks fine. When I watch a reactor I see that it stops sometimes because it needs to wait a few seconds for a rod.
I'm guessing it is what it is: one can rely on batteries to even this out. However my question is this: if I underclock the reactors to say 245% and allow for the build up of rods, are there any negative consequences?

The description says "production of rods is very slow, only 0.2/min" I'm not sure which rods are produced with this rate. There are 4 reactors each consuming rods at 0.5/min to a total of 2/min. they are produced by 5 manufactores at 0.4/min each, which also totals to 2/min. I'm not sure where 0.2/min comes from...

zespri yes, you are right. I see my mistake now. I updated production ratios with release 1.0, but missed the fact, that iron ingots are split to 2 lines. Now i can see, that left 3 constructors produce 90 ingots and send them to steel production, where requirement is 81. And right 3 constructor produce 60 and send it to iron wire, where demand it 66.75. So there is too much ingots to steel and lack to wire. You can change ratios(decrease left constructor and increase right constructor production), or replace first merger sending ingots to steel with splitter and connect it to merger next to it, sending overflow to wire constructor side. I will update BO as soon as possible. BIG THANKS

I think it's an issue with the blueprint; it does not produce enough iron ingots, for wire, for startors, for control rods for fuel rods, so when one is not there yet for a reactor we are having a dip. I tweaked the iron ingots production number, but it will take time to staturate the manifold, so I do not know, if this completely solves the issue or not.

I have connected this to the matching waste processing facility as recommended and I supply the whole thing with the four input belts as follow (all belts are mk5):
Belt 1: Uranium (240) Belt 2: Raw Qartz (120) Coal (240) Bauxite (120) Caterium ore (240) Belt 3: Limstone (240) Sulfur (240) Belt 4: Iron ore (480) Copper ore 300 (480/2 + 480/2/2/2 = 300)
As far as I can see the input requirements are fully satisfied. What could I have done wrongly, and how to diagnose and fix the issue?

RE: a previous comment I made. Would you be able to switch out the smart splitters with programmable splitters so any fuel type will be able to be used by the drones? With 1.0 you can use any type as I'm sure you are aware but currently they are smart splitters and can only handle filtering the batteries. I want to use rocket fuel or ionized fuel. Or even turbo fuel but right now I'm limited to batteries which are annoying to make :(

Lenko, with smart splitter, you can filter out from belt only one item. So in this case, i need to add dedicated line of smart splitters for every possible fuel type. And there is no space available. Easy solution will be with programmable splitters, but they were buggy in previous version and im not sure, if it is solved in 1.0, so i never use programmable splitters in BPs. You need to change setup manually, sorry.

I have been using this in 1.0 on my dedicated server. It is a fantastic blueprint that really makes Nuclear a breeze. Some would say that it takes the challenge out of the game, and it does to a degree, but i personally just dont enjoy balancing Nuclear reactors - so this is a life saver.
I do have some feedback for 1.0, though. Drones can now use multiple fuel types. It would be good if the blueprint were updated to allow any of the new fuel types to automatically get smart-split to the drone port fuel intakes. At the moment you need to go inside the building and update all the smart splitters to the fuel type you want to use, which is a bit tedious.

Hello, I love the principle of one big building that do the thing.
With the 1.0 release, editing the savegame is no longer required, because building resources can be taken from dimensional store. Combined with the TODO list, you can see how many resource items you need to keep in your inventory for full building. Maybe you could make use of somersloop...
The chainable idea is also really cool. But to prepare building placement, you should note on the description the building size.
One thing I don't like in the design : requires 7 materials, but only hash 6 inputs, so I have to mix somewhere... With enough dedidated inputs, the global sorter may no longer be required, or there should be a "trash" path that filters out unwanted items on dedicated path, that pioneer has to plug to whatever...

Shokyo, im not sure i get your answer. You can deliver batteries to one drone port and they are distributed automatically to other drone ports, but to fuel input. So all drone ports have batteries in fuel input, but not in standard input. So you can not deliver batteries to another drone port somewhere on map. If you need to do it for any reason, find belt delivering batteries to drone fuel input, put there splitter and connect it also to standard drone input. Then you will get batteries also drone storage, so you can distribute them to another distant location.

Hello chxd12x3, either you unlock additional slots in game, or use mod called "300 inventory slots", or open your save game in SCIM page and add as many slots, as you want.

Katoo, Katoo, And yes, limiting with close throughput conveyor belts may be a solution. Anyway I have already started building my own uranium fuel rod factory, it's pretty simple. But I will use your waste recycling facility (3 of them actually) despite the same sorting principle

Katoo, No, the whole problem is that my logistics are based on trains. A train always brings in 12800 iron ore for example, and then sits at the station for 53 minutes (at consuption 240 ore per minute) until it is completely unloaded. And so on with every resource type. In the case of your sorter it will overflow very quickly and then I have to sort the surplus again and return it to stations or the train will leave too soon and bring even more resources. And I can't just convert everything to drones because 240 iron ore per minute means the drone only has 3.75 minutes to complete a full cycle, of which takeoff and landing takes 2 minutes, so the loading point has to be close.

RiceOfStrength there must be smart sorter due to drone ports. I can not fit there dedicated drone port for every resource. You can simple use different belt limits to go as close as possible to demands. Yes, there still will be excess, but it brings you Coupons, it is not wasting of resources. Especially, resources are infinite.

My god... I really wanted to use this blueprint and build a few of these things, but when I realized how much logic I needed to put in to make sure this thing wasn't just a giant resource sink because of that auto sorter, I decided not to use it at all

BobTheDestroyer, hmm, good idea to make BP floor by floor. I will try in next project. Not sure, how to mark what to connect where to merge all belts and pipes for all floors, but i will try. Unfortunately, in this particular case, it is not possible. Reactors are too big.

Love your builds, just a shame some of them are impossible to build without mods (even with max inventory space). Be awesome if the larger blueprints could be split into two parts (first floor/second floor) etc. but that's a lot of work I know. Either way keep em coming! (but pls make them smaller XD)

@Chemist it is sorter principle. You can send mixed resource on same belt and sorter will sort it, based on setup. Each input line have Sink, so flow will never stop. For sorter diagram, check my another blueprint, 3rd image have diagram explanation https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/blueprints/index/details/id/3369/name/Compact+sorter++10+mixed+inputs++10+sorted+outputs. I used same sorter, but only with 6 inputs and 9 outputs.

I can't get how I add 7 resources into 6 windows without clogging. It is inevident that one will stop passing to the belt until other will end up. But if you have constant supply - it will never end up... Can you make a short video?

@nijakattack, click on Interactive map button on this page, load your save game to page, click on options and modify number of inventory slots(you can add as much as you want). Export save game and enjoy. Export is done with new save game file name, so it will not touch your initial file. It means, no any risk. Just try and you will see, it is simple action and you don't need mods.

Mods don't work. The save does not overwrite either. You can only add slots with the cheat program. The power plant and processor are brilliant, congratulations. Unfortunately, after 1 day of operation, my processor stopped because for some reason, instead of sulfur, the belt from the power plant came with uranium. That gave it 5 stars. :)

If you check Blueprint break down, you will find 55 smart splitters. Also in comment i mentioned, that i implemented there my sorter and you can send any resources to any belt. Sorter is array 6x9=54 (9 because batteries needs to be sorted out and delivered back to drone ports battery inputs)

Hello Uguray, no, it will not stuck. As you mentioned, it will go to Sink. Advantage of mixed belt sorter is, that you can send any resource to any belt and it will find its way. Disadvantage is, all overflow MUST go to Sink, to prevent clogging. I decide to use sorter, because i planned to create Waste Reprocessing Facility in same design and belts can be connected from power plant to reprocessing facility(instead of Sink in power plant). Means, you can use one input in power plant for both factories. But im busy now, so maybe i will deliver it in 2-3 weeks.
