This BP is designed to be build anywhere on map, but my recommendation is to build it close to water, because you need to deliver 600 water to each power plant. Due to resource input is not so big, i decided to implement also drone ports. I implemented to this blueprint my sorter, so there is no dedicated input belt. You can send any resource to any belt, or any resource to any drone port, or belts+drone ports in same time, resource will always find their way. Also batteries can be send to belts, or deliver by drones, they are routed back to drone battery storages. Waste is primary directed to belt output, but one drone port is also connected, so you can use also drone port to export waste. To do this, you need to switch smart splitter right behind door from center to right. Don't worry, there is sign with notes.

You can simple connect all inputs/output (or setup drones routes), connect power(initially it need 1.7GW to start production) and factory will start to produce fuel rods and generate power. But it will lasts ~3hours to fully stabilize output to 25GW. If you want quicker smooth production(in ~75mins), follow bellow steps:

  1. connect all inputs, EXCEPT uranium
  2. connect water and power.
  3. production will slowly start, keep it running ~1 hour WITHOUT uranium
  4. after 1 hour past, you can connect also uranium
  5. in next 15mins(production of rods is very slow, only 0.2/min) power production will be fully stabilized on 25GW

13 Power Shards are used, 12 is mandatory for power plants and due to space limitation, i was forced to use one more in assembler.
Battery production is not included, so if you want to user drones, you have to fuel them in destination ports, or deliver battery to this factory(by belt, or by drone port).

Version 1.1

  • Top floor was redesign little bit. I added there 6 output mergers, connected to inputs. Means resources can pass through factory. You can connect another power plant input to output of previous power plant(serial connection).
  • Have in mind, maximum throughput is 6x780 ppm
  • Resources connected to inputs(or coming from drone ports) go to buffer containers and to machines. If buffer containers are full, resource is send to output. If output is not connected, overflow is send to Sink.
  • Reason for redesign is simple, im going to build Waste reprocessing facility, which can be then connected directly to power plant.

Version 1.2

  • I added one more output merger for possible waste reprocessing facility connection.
  • Smart splitter right behind the door have now 3 possibilities(CENTER-Output1, LEFT-Output2, RIGHT-Drone port). So you can easily redirect waste, where you want.
  • This has to be final version and no more updates will be published.

Version 1.3

  • Because there is not dedicated input for uranium and people have issue to setup input amount correctly to 125/min. and we all know, uranium excess can not be manage by Sink, I decided to add dedicated input for uranium, means no more issue with uranium overflow.
