J.A.W.S. Delivery Drone Port

NOTE! see https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/blueprints/index/details/id/4068/name/J.A.W.S.+Instructions+and+Load+Balancer for details on this blueprint set! This is NOT a standalone blueprint.

J.A.W.S. Delivery Drone Port Installation:

If you do not have Infinite Nudge mod, installing this blueprint on top of the Load Balancer blueprint is a little tricky but it can be done easily in vanilla!

  • first, extend the roof of the ItemSorter™ blueprint out to any side. (this gets the blueprint on the same horizontal plane as the bottom of Load Balancer blueprint)
  • with this (Drone Delivery Port) blueprint selected, rotate it so it aligns the ItemPicker™ export Floor Holes opposite of the Drone Port battery/input/output side.
  • lock hologram in default Blueprint mode over the extended roof. (default hologram lock key is H)
  • nudge the blueprint (arrow keys) to where the end of the belt in hologram is directly over the middle of the Conveyor Floor Hole on Load Balancer blueprint.
  • connect Load Balancer blueprint to Drone Delivery Port blueprint with a Conveyor Elevator.
  • connect Power Cable from ItemSorter™ to Delivery Drone Port Priority Power Switch. (Leave OFF until needed)
  • delete extended ItemSorter™ roof.

J.A.W.S. Drone Delivery Usage Procedure:

  • Anywhere in your world, build a Drone Delivery Service Blueprint (https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/blueprints/index/details/id/4070/name/J.A.W.S.+Delivery+Service+Port), use the included Priority Power Switch in it to select Drone Delivery ("Delivery Select:" set to ON) from your Circuit Break Priority menu
  • From that same menu, select the items you want to get delivered. For most consistent results, use only one switch at a time. As a rule of thumb, a 2 second ON/OFF flick on any switch will give you a minimum of 150-160 items when no other switches active. Assume items will flow into Drone Port at a rate of ~760/m after the initial 150 from 'queued' items.
  • Once you familiarize yourself with the system behavior, experiment with calling multiple items simultaneously, but note that they will bottleneck at the Drone Port Input, so be careful when doing so. Further testing needed for more details on system behavior.
  • When you have finished remotely loading up the Delivery Drone, use the Drone Port in blueprint you built in first step to call the Drone in Port "Delivery Drone Port" to your new Drone Port.
  • Once the Delivery Drone arrives at your drone port, it will hover over it until you flip ON the Priority Power Switch, prompting it to land and unload the items you have requested. (items you place in the Drone Port Outgoing before Drone lands will be loaded on to drone and returned to base!)
  • Optionally, you can have the Delivery Drone do a second trip (back to base, then back to you, then back to base again) to pick up any unused items from first trip, provided you have connected the Output line of the Delivery Drone Port back into the ItemSorters™/your warehouse.
