To clarify the orientation instructions: the "blueprint arrow" refers to the decal on the center foundation, not the white alignment arrow that you see when placing a blueprint. I would update the instructions, because decals are not visible in the hologram view, so if you assume it was the alignment arrow as I did, you just end up testing once, tearing it down and re-placing rotated 180 degrees.

This works really well so far, especially with liquid biofuel and jetpack. You can nearly cross the entire map with it. The only issue I've had so far is that sometimes the direction doesn't work properly. For example, going into the "West" entrance tube may spit you out going eastward and vice versa. It appears to happen less frequently if you look down at the floor and stay looking down until exiting the system.
