SpaKwOrK there are 3 mergers, marked MIX OUTPUT, MIX INPUT, BATTERY IN. From all 3 mergers you can drag lifts directly downside and they are not in collision with walls, or stairs. Just with catwalks and you can use conveyor floor hole, if necessary(i dont like lift holes on catwalks, but it is up to you).

I have a question, u dont have video to how set the belt for input or output splitter ? it's not very pretty and I can't see how to send and receive resources on the belt without going through walls or the stair

Awarnach same way, one output belt, where all items delivered by drones are mixed. Then you need to put smart splitters on this belt and filter out particular item. And put Sink at the end of belt(it will sink or items not set in smart splitters and also overflow).

Thanks, your talking about inbound though right for the sink, I'm referring to the outbound line when drones bring stuff back.

Awarnach principle of mixed belt is, that it can not stop. For that reason, there is a Sink at the end of belt. If you send 8 mixed resources to belt, each smart splitter will filter out one product and send it to drone port. Anything else, will be send to Sink. Including overflow, means if port is full, overflow will be sent to Sink. Satisfactory have unlimited resources, so any over production have to be sink for coupons income.

forgive the noob question but I don't understand how the single mixed output works, guess it needs to have a continuous flow so one item doesn't backlog all 8 ports?.

Pryanik12 they did not disappear, they go to sink, because you did not setup smart splitters.

And I think only one outgoing belt is much too less. One port was'n unloaded before drone come back. I only use one drone port, Wat if U use more, I get my stuff never got unloaded and the out outgoing etc. inside in middle ist not optimal, too much clipping with elevators and belts,

Kozrek, not only walls, try to build drone, go closer and look for red marked conflict objects. Usually it is blue signs. In some ports also wall. Game indicate you, which object is in collision. Drone object borders were extended in 1.0 and i wasn't aware. I will try to fix it as soon as possible. But busy with other project now.

You must delete all wall's and all cyan things around the drone pod, the you can build it there.

Doesn't work, I deleted all wall'a around, I can't still not build a drone there...pls fix.

Hey Wicked, easy fix on that one. The wings of the drone very slightly clip 2 walls/sign boards in the bay. You can see the ones highlighted red. If you delete those and then build the drone, you can just rebuild them after. Doesn't affect the operations. Also won't affect any incoming drones.

I might not be very smart, So please help the drones dont seem to fit in 1.0

Janis213 designer is for editing. If you want to build it, just click on BP and build it anywhere you want.

Where I can build it? Tried all 3 Blueprint Designers, and it didn't works

drneeley it was though decision for me, if i should use 8 belts, or one mixed. Because drone have very slow transfer speed usually, i decided to build it with one mixed belt, which i more difficult and im sure, if needed, players can redesign it for 8 belts. Should not be so big deal.

This works so well. Only limit is single Mk5 belts in and out. Good job again Katoo.
