- Size: 3x4 (Vanilla Mk.1 Blueprint Designer)
This blueprint is part of my FICSIT Starter Set for very early gameplay and are the first factories I will build. Each blueprint is:
- Fast: These factories are fully load balanced, meaning that there's no delay for buffers to fill before items get produced at full speed.
- Inexpensive: All material usage is minimal, especially reinforced iron plates, and shards, quartz, etc aren't used.
- Compact: In early gameplay it's hard for me to plan factories from the ground and things get ugly fast. This keeps things tidy. Keeping things small also keeps build costs low.
- Scaleable: If you put any fraction of the ore in, you get that fraction of the output out, for every item. Don't have a a full 120/min available? No problem.
- Intuitive: Everything is stored on in organized containers at ground level.
- Time-saving: Smaller factory means less running around. Get out of Phase I faster!
Instructions: Input is in the white splitter to the left of the power pole. Slight delay on reinforced iron plates while the precursors are made. RIP rate starts at ~1.2/min but will slowly climb as buffer fills (couldn't avoid it).
I don't have blueprints unlocked yet. How do I use these?
You will need to install a mod to unlock them early. Installing mods does not disable achievements. Here's how to get set up:
- Download Satisfactory Mod Manager from https://ficsit.app/
- Install https://ficsit.app/mod/EarlyBlueprintDesigner or https://ficsit.app/mod/EarlyAndFreeBlueprintDesigner or mod of your choice
- Load up your save and place down any blueprint designer
- Make a dummy blueprint (could just be one power pole) and save it
- Download this blueprint (on this web page) and move it to %LOCALAPPDATA%\FactoryGame\Saved\SaveGames\blueprints[YourSaveName] (you will see your dummy blueprint in there)
- Reload your save, and then the downloaded blueprint will be visible to place Note that as soon as you unlock blueprints and have that folder created, you can uninstall the mod and place blueprints of any size, using whatever recipes are in those blueprints.
