Aluminum Ingot 270/min

Tileable mk2 blueprint for aluminum ingots.

Inputs (per minute):

  • 270 bauxite
  • 27 crude oil
  • 81 water

Outputs:

  • 270 aluminum ingots
  • 18 polymer resin

(Tile 3 times to convert a mk5 belt of bauxite into a mk5 belt of ingots, with a bit of capacity to spare.)

Requires alt recipes:

  • heavy oil residue
  • sloppy alumina
  • electrode aluminum scrap
  • pure aluminum ingot

    I think I've finally got it to work, but I had to add a run off at the end to absorb the extra to make wet concrete. The run off pipe needs to rise up taller than the refineries intake so that the refineries are filled first. Very frustrating blueprint.

    I spent a few hours trying to make this work. The issue is that the second refinery - the one with the recycled water - gets clogged up - even when I made the first refinery, the one with the fresh water - have a dead lift into the alumina solution, or used a pump with no power to remove any headlift, or added a buffer to try and even out the flow, it kept running out of room to push out solution, and which caused it to overflow with water, which causes a stall.

    It clogged up a few hours into production.
