Mk1 Outpost (Basic)

This is a self-powering, auto-sorting/processing Outpost, or a Field Site, ready-made home-away-from-home! Built with minimum requirements in mind for early-mid game pioneers. still struggling and exploring, in need of a shelter, 300+MW power source, and most importantly, exploration processing! Also fantastic as a cornerstone for any new base locations, providing starter power, routing of post-processed items out to larger power production and/or storage. (I have a companion "Mk1 Outpost Power" Blueprint coming that adds an additional x36 Biomass Burners, all balance-fed to avoid starvation or tripping breakers.

Simple pitch: drop down, walk in, feed the "jumpstarter" Biomass Burner, dump inventory into Industrial Storage, PROFIT.

The 1st Floor contains a single "Input" Industrial Container for dropping inventory, x4 (x2) "Output" Containers for post-processing Solid Biomass, DNA Capsules, Power Shards, and Misc. Additionally, There is a single Biomass Burner for jumpstarting the processing before the x9 additional Biomass Burners start receiving fuel. Then for convenience, I've placed an Equipment Workshop (acting as the door), MAM , Crafting Bench, and Awesome Shop. Everything you need!

  1. All Biomass products (Leaves, Wood, Mycelia) are processed into Biomass, which is further processed into Solid Biofuel, then auto-routed to the x9 additional balance-fed Biomass Burners on the 4th Floor, as well as the "Output" Storage Containers on the 1st Floor for easy pickup access, and/or optional routing out the back for base expansion.
  2. All Alien Remains are auto-sorted for processing into Alien Protein, then processed into DNA Capsules, and deposited into their "Output" Container for pickup or optional routing out back to an Awesome Sink.
  3. All Slugs are auto-sorted for processing into Power Shards, with x3 Somersloops installed for duplicating Power Shards, then deposited into their respective "Output" Container.
  4. All other items are auto-sorted to the Misc "Output" Container.

If you have more Somersloops, I highly recommend installing them into the other Constructors for quadruple the DNA capsule and Solid Biomass production, but this was meant to meet a minimum inventory cost.

This is NOT a "Pretty" base, but it is extremely functional. I built it specifically to minimize needed unlocks, and to be as generic as possible to allow others to redecorate to suit their preference. Additionally, this is a LOT shoved into a very small blueprint, requiring some minor clipping, using catwalks in place of foundations, and less than ideal walking paths. PLEASE feel free to improve on my layout if you can find a way to fit things more elegantly. I'd love to see others improve on my design!
