Turbo Fuel Power Plant Release Version
324 Turbofuel Generators arranged into 4 platforms with 3 towers of 27. This site has a theoretical gross capacity of 4 x 81 x 250MW fuel generators (using 4500MW of that to run itself), and can be expanded if needed (oil nodes are not overclocked). One tower is used to power the fuel production for the rest of the towers (feel free to just combine the circuits at the substation if required).
Logistics
Sulfur is delivered via rail from 2 nodes in the east (included in the blueprint). Note that one of the sulfur nodes is also shared with my Nuclear Power Plant megaprint if you also have that downloaded.
Polymer resin is not used by this blueprint, but is delivered to conveyors under the train stations (to do whatever). If not used, excess polymer resin is sinked.

First : thank for your work
Seems to has a weird bug similar to the duplaction bug on the "coal" belt and there is biomass in this line for no reason, so 3 plateform on 4 are broken and need "repair" that's why we get only 36 GW, only Northshore plant 1 work
-
abramz - 01.10.2024 15:44:41
I think maybe Northshore Plants 3 and 4 are not connected properly. Both power grid A & B on those switches are reading 12500-14000 power
-
abramz - 01.10.2024 15:36:43
Thank you for this megaprint. I noticed a couple things. There is a "goods" train on the line going to the desert that has train cars full of plastic, rubber, and aluminum. It is blocking one of the sulfur trains. I thought this might be why the power generation is only at ~33k but I removed the train and gave the system some time to stabilize but power output hasn't gone up. Wondering if there is something else going on to cause the power output to be so low.

First of: Awesome build! But I seem to be blind as well xD" Like niels I get around 40GW. But even if I connect to the southern big pole it's like that. I'm not sure if I miss something to get to the 80GW? Maybe I overlook something? :
-
xbb1024 - 30.09.2024 03:55:04
@fuelstaind the original intention (from early access before priority switches) was for one tower to power all fuel production equipment and never go down, while the main circuit could blow a fuse and not create a problem trying to start it up again. All power connections go into a substation where you can connect the wiring if you wish to alter it.
-
fuelstaind - 29.09.2024 20:01:34
Maybe I am missing something. Why is Grid 10 coming from the eastern facility not connected to Grid 9 that has the majority of the power?
-
xbb1024 - 28.09.2024 14:50:48
Hey everyone, regarding the presence of the extra train stations, this plant generates a lot of excess polymer resin which could be used to generate various polymer products. I'm not including that section in this megaprint because it adds extra complexity which isn't really the purpose (being to generate power).
-
niels1306 - 26.09.2024 13:24:32
Yea.....ignore my comment about the power... It sort of helps to actually hook it up to the right network. I connect my whole base to power via the rail network, i needed to connect the southern big pole to my network. So yea... My bad :D
-
niels1306 - 26.09.2024 13:09:08
Great plant! I am still figuring out where everything goes, but it looks amazing :D I do not get the 80 GW output though, am I missing something obvious? I'm at about 40 GW and that's including my own existing powerplant.
@craftybob: I had that train too, I moved it out of the way for now. It also has no schedule.
-
craftybob - 23.09.2024 20:52:25
Hi, amazing factory. In the blueprint there are two trains, one carrying plastic/rubber/suplher and alu with one-ended loco. The other is a double-ended train carrying sulphur from the north oasis. Should there be another train? What's the point of the plastic/ribber train?
-
xbb1024 - 20.03.2022 02:04:25
To change something to make it upsidedown, in the Interactive Map, right click and select update position. There are options to change the pitch, roll, and rotation.
-
ra1k_0 - 16.03.2022 23:11:04
How did you place the generators upside down?
-
xbb1024 - 11.03.2022 09:42:32
Thanks for letting me know about the missing pipe, I'll fix this over the weekend
-
BlazerBuddy - 12.02.2022 20:58:07
Why do some generators seem to shut down randomly? The pipe on one says 59.6 fluid inside but at the very top only 8.6, why is this?
-
Stretch886 - 04.02.2022 19:12:33
Is this an update of the previous build on this location? Doesn't look like it has rubber/plastic/fabric outputs currently. Is it configured to implement those?
-
JJk - 31.01.2022 06:48:20
Beautiful and useful bp One problem is there is 1 missing pipe in the Heavy Oil Residue line. So if you don't repair this, the fuse will blow down repeatedly.
