Plutus MTL: Stackable Storage (Stream Module)

Plutus MTL (Multitask Logistics) is a modular, stackable storage and streaming facility designed for remote product delivery, storage, and global routing.

Unlike traditional container-based blueprints, Plutus MTL introduces a hybrid model:

Container Floors (2 per level): For standard item storage

Stream Buffers: Custom truck station-based units that allow controlled input and output.

These stream buffers make it possible to select stored product within (Plutus MTL [Concrete...]) and have it remotely delivered through the merging stream to a train station or connected factory.

Power Management (each segment is priority power switch):

Floor 1

  • Load/Unload truck stations
  • MTL
  • Streetlight system

Floor 3

  • Merging/Splitting stream control

Dual Access Architecture: Includes both staircase and elevator (manual enhancement required for stackable levels).

Fully Stackable Design

  • Vertical Stacking = More storage levels
  • Horizontal Linking = Connect multiple MTL into a network-wide stream zone.

Main Components

  • Plutus MTL: Stream Module

Core base of the system. Manages stream logic, input/output routing, and power systems.

  • Plutus MTL: Storage Module

Stackable unit with containers and integrated access. Designed to snap. See: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/blueprints/index/details/id/9699/name/Plutus+MTL%3A+Storage+Module+%28Component%29

⚠️ Deployment Notes

Always connect the storage modules manually in default mode — do not rely on advanced modes, use vertical nudge for proper alignment.

The project has not yet undergone extensive testing for critical scenarios, you might consider to integrate AlphaMart to avoid possible traffic jams and also to use as a global power manager: https://satisfactory-calculator.com/en/blueprints/index/details/id/9472/name/AlphaMart%3A+The+smart+storage

It's highly recommended to use tags for switch labels. For example, MTL [Concrete], MTL [Screw]...

To start MTL once it's built:

  1. Connect electricity to an outlet outside of the facility (marked).
  2. Pull all the triggers in the Power management room.
  3. Deliver your stuff!

Optional:

  1. Set a product for the splitting stream on floor 2 in case you deliver from a custom network.
  2. (If you want to deliver products to a connected endpoint remotely) Toggle Input/Output buffer switches on floor 2 or through a priority switch.
